Optrel liteflip autopilot welding helmet with hard hat adapter
The Optrel liteflip autopilot is built for versatility: it combines the traditional flip-up front that professionals value with advanced automatic darkening technology. Designed for welders who constantly switch between welding, grinding and inspection, it gives an unrestricted, crystal-clear field of view in passive mode (level 1.0). When you lower the front, the ShadeTronic® system takes full control and automatically selects the protection level across an exceptionally broad range of 5-14. The version with a universal hard hat adapter is a ready-made solution for professionals who work where full head protection is required.

Technology in detail
ShadeTronic® technology, fully automatic protection
ShadeTronic® technology, also called Autopilot, is an intelligent system that changes the way shade adjustment works. A set of advanced optical sensors continuously analyses the intensity of the welding arc, and a microprocessor adjusts the protection level steplessly in real time across an extremely broad range from 5 to 14. The helmet reacts on its own to changes in current, welding process or distance from the workpiece, with no input from the user. You no longer have to interrupt work for manual corrections and can concentrate fully on a precise weld. Investing in ShadeTronic® means better quality work, less fatigue and maximum productivity.
FadeTronic® technology, smooth and comfortable brightening
FadeTronic®, also known as Twilight Technology, is a patented ergonomic feature that protects the welder's eyes after welding stops. Instead of an abrupt, instant change from dark to light, the filter brightens smoothly and gradually. This is especially valuable when welding at high currents, where the glowing weld pool could cause unpleasant glare and a shock to the eyes. You can adjust the transition time to your own preferences and working conditions. The result is less eye strain and a lower risk of headaches during long working hours, which makes this feature important for the health and comfort of a professional.
Flip-up design, maximum versatility
The liteflip combines the best of two worlds: traditional reliability and modern automation. When you raise the front flap, you get a large panoramic visor with a brightness level of 1.0, ideal for precise grinding, marking out, assembly or quality inspection. You no longer have to keep taking the helmet off and putting it back on, which speeds up the work cycle considerably. Lowering the flap immediately activates the advanced auto-darkening filter and gives you full welding protection. This design keeps work flowing and safe at every stage of the production process.
True-Color View technology, see things as they are
Standard welding filters often distort colours and give the surroundings an unnatural green tint. True-Color View technology is a special UV/IR filter that lets you perceive colours in a much more realistic spectrum, close to natural light. The welder can watch the weld pool more precisely, tell its colour and temperature apart, and read markings on the material or the settings on the welding machine panel without errors. Better visibility of details translates directly into greater control of the welding process. It is an investment in precision that helps you avoid mistakes and improve the quality of every weld.
