ShadeTronic® technology, fully automatic protection
ShadeTronic® technology, also known as Autopilot, is an intelligent system that changes the way you protect your eyes. Instead of making you set the shade by hand, the helmet analyses the intensity of the welding arc in real time on its own. Based on this, it automatically and smoothly selects the optimum protection level across a very broad span from 5 to 14 DIN. The system adapts to changes in current, welding technique or distance from the weld pool, giving you the right shade in typical workshop conditions. With Autopilot technology you can concentrate fully on the precision of the weld, with no need to stop work for manual adjustments.
↔ Liteflip design, maximum versatility
The liteflip combines the advantages of two different types of face protection in one ergonomic design. When you raise the module with the ADF filter, you look through a large, crystal-clear visor with light level 1.0, ideal for preparation work, grinding or quality inspection. This design gives you an unrestricted field of view and full face protection against flying particles. Lowering the flip-up visor immediately activates the advanced auto-darkening filter, ready for welding. You no longer need a separate grinding mask, which makes the whole working process simpler and faster.
FadeTronic® technology, protection and comfort for your eyes
FadeTronic®, often called the twilight function, is a patented technology that lightens the filter gradually after welding ends. Instead of a sudden switch from dark to light, which can cause momentary glare and eye fatigue, the filter returns to its resting state step by step. This lets your eyes adapt comfortably to the change in light intensity, which matters most when welding at high currents, where the glow of the cooling weld pool is very intense. You can adjust the delay time to suit the task. It is a basic investment in eye health and working comfort that lets you work longer without tiring.
True-Color View filter, a realistic view of your work
The special True-Color View optical filter lets you see colours in a spectrum close to natural light and removes the green tint typical of standard filters. You see the weld pool, the material and the surroundings in realistic colours, with high contrast. Better visibility means more precise torch guidance, easier control of how the metal melts and faster detection of contamination or weld defects. This technology translates directly into higher quality and precision in your work.
