Weldcap bump by OPTREL is an innovation among goggle-based auto-darkening welding helmets, with particular focus on comfort and safety. The Weldcap bump is a unique combination of an auto-darkening helmet and a textile cap with additional impact protection. This design makes the Weldcap well suited to hard-to-reach places, outdoor work and other jobs where working comfort matters. The textile part is made of flame-retardant, durable fabric that can be removed and washed, and it carries an impact-resistant hard insert that protects your head. The very low weight adds to the comfort, and because your eyes sit close to the filter, you get a 270% larger field of view.
The ADF fitted in the helmet has 4 shade levels from 9 to 12 DIN and a shade of 3 DIN for using the helmet when grinding.
A very practical feature of the OPTREL Weldcap bump is a belt-mounted holder on which you can hang the helmet. Combined with how quickly you can take the helmet off and put it on, using its peak as a handle, this makes working with it particularly quick and smooth.
