MultiPro 201 4in1 - MULTI PROCESS WELDING INVERTER
SPARTUS® MultiPro 201 4in1 is a multi process inverter welder designed around advanced PWM technology and high grade IGBT transistors. It welds in the MIG / TIG AC / TIG DC and MMA AC / MMA DC processes with a maximum current of 200A. It runs from a single phase 230V mains supply. Thanks to its broad configuration options the machine fits many metal joining techniques.
MIG WELDING
The MultiPro 201 4in1 has a synergic MIG/MAG welding system with programs for steel, stainless steel, aluminium, self shielded wire welding and braze welding. Parameters can be corrected by hand, with automatic hints on material thickness and wire feed speed.

The MultiPro 201 4in1 also runs in manual mode. That mode lets you set every welding parameter to your own requirements.
The machine has built in functions that support MIG/MAG welding:
- Burn Back, control of the wire burn back time, removes the risk of the welding wire sticking to the contact tip. It also makes short welds easier in MIG/MAG.
- Slow Feed, a soft start for the feeder. A useful function at high wire feed speeds. The arc strikes steadily from the moment welding begins, so the risk of defects at the start of the weld is kept to a minimum.
- Inductance control
- Welding in two modes: 2T/4T.
The MultiPro 201 4in1 also welds with SPOOL GUN type torches that carry their own wire feeder. This takes load off the machine and extends its reach, so torches longer than 5 metres can be used.
TIG WELDING
Thanks to its advanced functions, the MultiPro 201 4in1 handles demanding TIG AC and TIG DC welding with HF or Lift arc ignition. It supports pulsed current welding, which suits precise work on thin sheet and aluminium. The machine has functions that support the TIG process, such as:
- AC waveform selection: three options are available, square, sine and triangular, so the welding parameters can be matched to the material at hand.
- Adjustment of AC balance, current and pulse frequency, pulse width and pulse current, which gives close control over the welding process.
- Downslope and upslope time adjustment: lets you optimise the dynamics of the arc, which is key on complicated welds.
- SPOT welding: this option allows accurate spot welds, suited to precise industrial work.
- 2T/4T operating mode: makes control easier and keeps the work comfortable on both short and long welding jobs.

MMA WELDING
The MultiPro 201 4in1 offers versatile MMA welding in both AC and DC, which makes it a sound choice for varied applications. The machine carries support functions that make the welding process easier and better controlled:
- Hot Start: makes the first strike of the electrode easier, which helps above all on difficult materials, giving a smooth start and a stable arc from the very beginning.
- Arc Force (arc dynamics control): adjusts the intensity of the welding arc automatically, which helps when welding in places that are hard to reach or in forced positions. That gives more control over the process and lowers the risk of weld defects.
