Who this machine is for

SPARTUS XPro MIG 310

compact 300A power for demanding MIG/MAG tasks

SPARTUS XPro MIG 310 is a modern semi-automatic welding machine built for work where arc stability, repeatability and output in everyday workshop and production tasks count. The design based on IGBT technology and the supply from a three phase 400V mains give reliable operation across many kinds of jobs.

The machine gives a maximum welding current of 300A at a 60% duty cycle, which covers most welding tasks in comfort without giving up output.

MIG/MAG welding, steady power and real output

The XPro MIG 310 was designed as a solid source for intensive MIG/MAG work. 300A at a 60% duty cycle allows efficient welding of steel structures, machine parts or assembly work without frequent breaks.

Advanced synergic programs make setting the welding parameters much simpler. You choose the material and the wire diameter, and the machine picks the settings by itself. For more demanding users there is a manual mode that gives full control over the process parameters.

SPARTUS XPro MIG 310 offers extensive control over the arc and over the course of the weld:

  • inductance control (arc characteristic)
  • Slow Feed, smooth start of wire feeding
  • Burn Back, precise end of the weld
  • adjustment of arc start and arc end parameters
  • operating modes 2T / S2T / 4T / S4T / SPOT

The operator can therefore match the process closely to the material and the welding technique, which gives a better weld and less spatter.

Built-in 4-roll wire feeder

Steady wire feeding decides the quality of MIG/MAG welding. The SPARTUS XPro MIG 310 has a built-in four-roll wire feeder that moves the material smoothly and evenly.

The feeder sits inside the housing and has a practical viewing window and internal lighting, which makes it easier to check the spool, the wire guide and the roll settings. That helps when changing wire, when working in poorly lit places and during a quick check of the station before welding starts. In addition, the space for spare rolls in the feeder keeps the most used accessories at hand without setting up extra working space.

The machine also works with a Spool Gun torch, which opens up work with soft wires, above all with aluminium. This improves feeding stability and reduces the problems that come from guiding soft wire over a longer distance.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)

SPARTUS XPro MIG 310 has high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), which means stable operation without interference in a demanding industrial setting. The machine is designed not to disturb other machines and control systems, while staying immune to outside interference. That gives certainty of reliable work among automation, robots and modern production installations.

20 memory channels, repeatability without lost time

The machine offers 20 memory channels for storing your own welding parameter settings. That is a real help with repeated parts, different materials or fixed production jobs. The operator can save proven configurations and go back to them quickly, without setting every parameter again. The result is shorter preparation time, less risk of a mistake and higher repeatability of the process.

Ease of use and a clear LCD panel

The modern control panel with a clear LCD display gives quick access to the most important functions and parameters. The interface leads the user through the choice of process, material, wire diameter and further settings, so operation stays intuitive even with the extensive options of the machine.

During welding the screen shows the key working parameters, so the process can be followed live and adjusted quickly to the needs of a given job.

TIG Lift Pulse - advanced parameter control

The SPARTUS XPro MIG 310 is not limited to MIG/MAG welding. The TIG Lift mode allows precise TIG DC welding with arc ignition by touch, without high frequency HF. That is a practical answer wherever more control over the process and a clean looking weld are needed.

The XPro MIG series takes TIG Lift a step further. The machine has an advanced TIG Lift Pulse function with pulse operation and access to extended settings of the welding sequence, including adjustment of pulse frequency and pulse width. This allows still finer control over the arc, over the heat input and over the weld characteristic, which users working with thinner materials or demanding details will value.

Besides standard support for TIG torches with a gas valve, SPARTUS XPro MIG 310 also works with TIG torches with control in the handle and a EURO connection. The operator can then follow the welding process without taking a hand off the torch, which adds comfort and better ergonomics. In this option, apart from the 2T and 4T modes, the machine also offers an 8T mode for an extended torch control cycle. That makes a multi-stage welding process easier to run and removes the need to hold the torch trigger all the time, which makes work easier for the operator.

MMA Pulse and intelligent process control

The SPARTUS XPro MIG 310 offers an extended MMA Pulse process that gives still more control over the arc, stable operation and a better match of the welding characteristic to the working conditions and to the habits of the operator. The machine also carries functions that support comfort and quality of work, such as: Hot Start - easier ignition of the electrode, Arc Force - arc stabilisation during welding, VRD - more safety through a lower open circuit voltage.

The XPro MIG series also offers two advanced MMA characteristic modes: constant current and constant power.

MMA Constant Current, a stable and predictable arc

In MMA Constant Current mode the machine holds a steady welding current whatever the changes in arc length or working conditions. This keeps the process very stable, makes it easier to guide the electrode and gives repeatable weld quality. Automatic holding of the set current value reduces the need for constant correction by the operator, which adds comfort and makes the welding process easier to control.

MMA Constant Power, intelligent parameter matching

MMA Constant Power mode adjusts the output voltage and current dynamically to hold the welding power constant. The machine therefore adapts its working characteristic by itself to changes in arc length and in process conditions. This raises welding stability, simplifies operation and allows a faster match of the working parameters to different materials and welding positions. The operator sets the power wanted and the machine optimises the remaining process parameters.

Compact design and mobility

Despite its high power, the XPro MIG 310 keeps compact dimensions and a weight of 26.3 kg. The machine stands on stable feet as standard, and the set includes running wheels that can be fitted for easy moving. Another asset is the intelligent cooling control system (Fan Stop), which starts the fan only when it is needed. That means quieter work, less drawing in of dirt and longer life of the components.

Greater working reach, fewer limits

A well planned cable configuration3-metre welding torch, earth lead and supply lead, gives real freedom of movement around large parts and cuts the need to move the machine often. The 3-metre gas hose with a quick coupler speeds up connection and tidies up the station, which makes work more efficient.

Stable work in any environment

Compliance with the EMC standards means correct operation in an industrial environment without interference. The IP21S protection rating means the machine is meant for closed and roofed spaces, which makes it a good fit for workshops and production halls.

Warranty

The warranty period for machines of the SPARTUS XPro series is up to 36 months.
