PATON ProMIG-500-15-4-400V W (WAM) MIG/MAG welder
The PATON ProMIG-500-15-4 W is a digital inverter MIG/MAG welder for professional use. It is designed for semi-automatic MIG/MAG welding, MMA (stick) welding with covered electrodes and TIG DC. Fully digital control gives the ProMIG-500-15-4 W multiple functions and many options for precise adjustment of the welding modes. The increased duty cycle at a rated current of up to 500 A lets you work with any electrodes from 1.6 mm up to 6 mm and weld semi-automatically with solid wire from 0.6 to 1.6 mm. The two-part housing lets you separate the power source from the wire feeder easily, which makes MMA and TIG work much more mobile and convenient. The welder has two additional connectors for the liquid cooling hose and the cable with power contacts.
Pulse function
- Pulse in TIG: full control of the heat input into the material, useful for welding stainless and acid-resistant steel.
- Pulse in MMA: easier metal transfer from the electrode into the weld pool and better quality of the welded joint.
- Pulse in MIG/MAG: easier detachment of metal droplets from the wire tip and adjustable pulsed current parameters. Pulsed MIG welding is useful for stainless steel, acid-resistant steel and aluminium alloys. Pulse welding also gives better results in CuSi3 MIG brazing.
The machine has synergic control in pulse mode, which automatically selects the optimum welding parameters for a stable arc and a high-quality weld.
The PATON ProMIG-500-15-4 W has a high-quality metal 4-roll wire feed mechanism with a strong sealed motor, and the universal KZ-2 EURO connector lets you connect welding torches from many manufacturers. The sturdy wire holder takes spools of up to 15 kg. The ProMIG-500-15-4 W combines high power and productivity with low weight and compact dimensions. The LCD screens make the machine easy and convenient to set up for any job.
