Paton StandardTIG-200 DC TIG welder
The PATON™ StandardTIG-200 welder is a machine for TIG DC welding with contactless arc striking (HF) and for MMA. An external Paton wire feeder can also be connected to it, which lets the machine weld in the MIG/MAG process.
The welder has a duty cycle of 45% at 200% and 100% at 134A. It carries many modern functions such as memory of the settings, pulse and short arc welding.

A further advantage is the CLEAN mode, which cleans stainless steel parts and their welds of oxides and discolouration left after welding, and polishes the surface to bring back its look and its corrosion resistance. Work in CLEAN mode calls for an extra purchase of a special electrolyte fluid for passivation of high alloy steels and of a PATON TIG brush. Without these accessories, cleaning and polishing stainless steel with this function is not possible.

Models of the StandardTIG series have a compact design built with a number of technical solutions that raise the reliability of the machines. Reliability of the inverter in dusty and humid surroundings was raised by moving the electronics into a separate chamber, and the high grade electronic parts were coated with lacquer.
The function of reduced welding voltage during manual arc welding (MMA), which can be switched off, lets the machine work in a hazardous environment. The machine has a protection module against incorrect levels of supply voltage (surges or drops). PATON™ StandardTIG welders have a work stabilisation system, so they can be powered from a generator set.
