TRAFILUX MIG 280 Dual Puls PRO
This is a professional inverter wire welder for industrial work, able to weld heavy structures. The machine sits on a sturdy transport chassis. Its broad functionality covers work in MIG/MAG, MMA and TIG CuSi3 modes. The synergic wire welder can run double pulse in the MIG/MAG process, so the weld quality comes close to a weld made with TIG. The welder has a clear LCD screen and a menu in 5 languages, and works in the modes: - 1 Puls, single pulsation MIG/MAG - 2 Puls, double pulsation MIG/MAG - 2 stroke/4 stroke, a choice of two modes - s2T, s4T, welding sequence chart as in the TIG process - SPOT, spot welding and braze welding. In the TIG process the machine runs in the modes 2 stroke/4 stroke/SPOT, with control of up slope current, down slope current and crater fill current. Also of down slope and up slope time and of pre gas and post gas time. In the MMA process the machine gives control over current level, ARC FORCE arc dynamics, HOT Start and hot start current, which makes striking the electrode easier. Work parameters can be stored in the built in 18 channel memory. A design strength of the machine are the transistors built in IGBT technology. What marks this type of transistor is lower energy use and lower electromagnetic interference, with higher output and a stronger, more stable welding arc.
