Weldas Arc Knight® 38-4320 attachable welding apron

The Arc Knight® series is Weldas' answer to the needs of professionals who work in the toughest and most demanding welding conditions. It is designed for maximum protection against intense radiant heat and large amounts of heavy molten metal spatter. Arc Knight® stands for uncompromising safety for welders using high-energy processes such as MMA, MIG/MAG with flux-cored wire or gouging.

Key features

Hybrid construction: durable cowhide split leather combined with heavy flame-retardant cotton (520 gr/m²).

Highest Protection Class: certified to EN ISO 11611 in Class 2 / A1+A2.

Reliable seams: stitched throughout with extremely strong KEVLAR® thread that resists heat and tearing.

Modular system: the apron attaches to base clothing to extend its protection (e.g. the 38-4328 jacket).

Dimensions: 51 cm long and 56 cm wide for optimal protection of the torso and thighs.

Technical Details and Certification

Materials and Construction

The 38-4320 apron embodies the philosophy of the Arc Knight® series, which is built on a smart combination of materials. A hybrid of heavy cowhide split leather and flame-retardant cotton weighing as much as 520 gr/m² strikes the best balance between full protection and comfort in use. The leather protects the most exposed areas, while the FR cotton stays flexible. The integrity of the construction in extreme conditions is ensured by seams sewn entirely with KEVLAR® thread, which does not melt or burn at high temperatures. The key feature is modularity: the apron is designed as an extension to the 38-4328 welding jacket, so you can match the level of protection to the task at hand without investing in a full, heavy coverall.

Safety and Certification

The product meets the strict requirements of EN ISO 11611 in Class 2 (A1+A2). This is the highest level of protection for welding clothing, intended for work in hazardous conditions with a large amount of spatter and a high level of radiant heat. Certification by an independent testing body guarantees that the Arc Knight® apron gives you safety you can rely on.
