Materials and construction
The Fire Fox™ jacket is made of high-quality flame-retardant cotton with a fabric weight of 305 g/m². Its dense weave forms an effective barrier against sparks and small spatter while keeping the natural breathability and comfort of cotton, which is invaluable during long hours of work. The seams, sewn with 3-ply twisted DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread that does not melt or burn at high temperatures, keep the construction intact. The designers paid particular attention to details: the double front closure with hook and loop and snap fasteners, together with the high, tightly fastened collar, forms a barrier that effectively stops hot particles from getting under the clothing.
Safety and certification
User safety is confirmed by a certificate of conformity with EN ISO 11611:2015, Class 1 (A1+A2), issued by the renowned certification body TÜV. Class 1 is intended for protection during manual welding techniques that produce small amounts of spatter and radiant heat, such as TIG, MIG, gas and micro-plasma welding, brazing or welding with rutile electrodes. When you choose the Fire Fox™ jacket, you invest in proven, certified safety.
