Materials and Construction
The 33-2800 coverall is made of high-quality flame-retardant cotton with a fabric weight of 305 g/m². The dense weave forms an effective barrier against sparks and small spatter while allowing good air circulation and moisture transport, which is key to comfort during long hours of work. Seams sewn with 3-ply KEVLAR® thread, which resists burning through and tearing, keep the garment intact. Weldas designers paid attention to the details: the double front closure with hook-and-loop and press studs and the high, tightly fastening collar form a barrier that stops hot particles from getting under the clothing.
Safety and Certification
User safety is confirmed by a certificate of conformity with EN ISO 11611:2015, issued by the independent certification body TÜV. The coverall meets the requirements of Class 1 (A1+A2), which means it is intended for protection during manual welding techniques that produce little spatter and radiant heat, such as TIG, MIG, gas welding, micro-plasma welding or MMA with rutile electrodes.
