Technical details and certification
Materials and construction
The protection of the 44-7300/P-AQ jacket starts with carefully selected grade A cowhide split leather with a guaranteed thickness of at least 1 mm, used for the front panel and sleeves. It forms an excellent thermal and mechanical barrier against molten metal spatter and intense radiant heat. The back is made of flame-retardant (FR) cotton weighing 305 g/m². This hybrid design noticeably reduces the weight of the jacket and improves air circulation, which makes long working hours far more comfortable. The seams hold everything together: they are double-stitched with the strongest thread on the market, 5-ply DuPont™ KEVLAR®, which does not melt or burn, so the garment will not come apart at a critical moment. All points exposed to mechanical stress are additionally reinforced with rivets, and the snaps are fully insulated, a key element of protection against electric shock.
Safety and certification
The jacket is certified to EN ISO 11611:2015 Class 2/A1+A2, confirmed by the independent certification body TÜV. Class 2 is the highest possible protection level for welding clothing, intended for the riskiest processes that produce a lot of spatter and intense heat. The A1+A2 marking means limited flame spread with both surface ignition (A1) and edge ignition (A2). By choosing this model, you invest in certified, proven and uncompromising safety.
