Technical details and certification
Materials and construction
Model 44-7300/P is a piece of engineering that combines full protection with comfort in use. The front and sleeves are made of top-quality grade A cowhide split leather (STEERSOtuff®) with a guaranteed minimum thickness of 1 mm. It forms a reliable barrier against molten metal spatter, intense radiant heat and mechanical damage. The key element of this model is the back made of FR flame-retardant cotton, which greatly improves thermal comfort and freedom of movement while reducing the weight of the whole jacket. The seams hold everything together: they are sewn with the strongest thread on the market, 5-ply DuPont™ KEVLAR®, which does not melt or burn, so the garment will not come apart at a critical moment. The details add to safety: electrically insulated snaps, a double placket that protects the closure from sparks, and inner rivet covers that stop heat from reaching the welder's body.
Safety and certification
The 44-7300/P jacket is certified to EN ISO 11611:2015 Class 2/A1+A2. This is the highest possible protection level for welding clothing, confirmed by the independent TÜV laboratory. Class 2 is required for the most hazardous welding processes (e.g. MMA welding, heavy MIG/MAG welding, gouging) that produce a lot of spatter and intense heat. By choosing this model, you invest in certified, proven safety at the highest level.
