Weldas LAVA BROWN™ 44-7800 Welding Cape Sleeve

Materials and Construction
The durability of the Lava Brown™ cape sleeve is based on top-quality grade A cowhide split leather cut from the side of the back, with a guaranteed minimum thickness of 1 mm. Thanks to its flexibility and dense structure, this material is an excellent barrier against molten metal spatter, intense radiant heat and mechanical damage. All seams are double-stitched with the strongest 5-ply twisted DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread on the market, which does not melt or burn and so stops the garment from coming apart at critical moments. The cape design protects the most important areas (chest and arms), while the open back with an adjustable strap system gives excellent air circulation and reduces weight, which means more comfort over long hours of work. Points exposed to mechanical stress are reinforced with rivets, and electrically insulated snap fasteners minimise the risk of electric shock.
Safety and Certification
The 44-7800 cape sleeve is certified to EN ISO 11611:2015 Class 2/A1+A2. This is the highest possible level of protection for welding clothing, intended for the most hazardous work that produces a lot of spatter and intense heat (e.g. MMA welding, FCAW, gouging). All Weldas products are tested and certified by the renowned TÜV body, and full documentation is available online. With this model you invest in certified and proven safety at the highest level.
