Materials and construction
The exceptional resistance of the Arc Knight® 10-2050 gloves comes from a smart hybrid design. The palm and back of the hand are made of tough split cowhide, which forms a barrier against spatter and high temperatures. The cuff, in turn, is made of very heavy flame-retardant cotton weighing as much as 520 g/m², which provides flexibility and protects the forearm. Everything is sewn with extremely strong KEVLAR® thread that resists burning through and breaking, so the glove holds together even in extreme industrial conditions.
Safety and certification
The 10-2050 gloves are certified to EN ISO 11611 Class 2 (A1+A2). This is the highest possible level of protection for welding clothing and accessories, which means they have been tested and approved for use in the most hazardous situations. Class 2 guarantees protection against much more spatter and a higher level of radiant heat compared with standard Class 1 clothing.
