Technical details and certification
Materials and construction
The exceptional functionality of the 10-2336 gloves comes from a strategic choice of materials. The gripping area (palm) is made of top-quality cowhide grain leather. This is the outer and most valuable layer of the hide. Its dense fibre structure gives outstanding flexibility and an excellent feel for the object you hold, which is essential when guiding a TIG torch precisely. The back of the hand, the area most exposed to radiant heat and spatter, is protected by a thick layer of class A cowhide split leather. This material forms a solid thermal and mechanical barrier. The whole glove is held together by seams made from 100% multi-ply twisted DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread, which resists burning through and tearing and removes the weakest point of cheaper gloves.
Safety and certification
Professional trust is the foundation of the Weldas brand. Like all of the company's products intended for the European market, the 10-2336 gloves carry the CE marking and are certified by the renowned German notified body TÜV Rheinland. This means they have passed strict tests confirming compliance with European safety standards for personal protective equipment. With this model you have the assurance that your hands are protected by a product with verified and repeatable protective properties. Full documentation and declarations of conformity are available on the manufacturer's website.
