Materials and construction
The functionality of the 10-2700 model comes from a precise choice of materials. The gloves are made entirely of cowhide grain leather, the outer, most valuable layer of the hide with a dense fibre structure. Unlike split leather, grain leather is naturally water-repellent and oil-resistant, which makes it an ideal material for changing industrial conditions and outdoor work.
The construction is held together by seams sewn with 3-ply DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread. This aramid material is extremely tear-resistant and, above all, does not melt at high temperature. This removes the weakest point of cheaper gloves: burnt-through seams and a glove that falls apart under spatter and heat. This technical solution directly improves safety and significantly extends glove life.
