Technical details and certification
Materials and construction
The reliability of the 10-2064 gloves is based on carefully selected split cowhide. Because Weldas controls the entire production process in its own tannery, it guarantees that the material has a consistent minimum thickness of 1 mm, which creates a solid barrier against molten metal spatter and contact heat. Seams are the weakest point of most gloves, and in this model that problem has been eliminated. Genuine 4-strand braided DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread ensures that the seams do not split under mechanical stress and, crucially, do not burn through on contact with high temperatures. It is this construction detail that determines the service life of the product and the safety of the user in critical conditions.
Safety and certification
Safety is at the core of the Weldas brand. Like all of the company's products for the European market, the 10-2064 gloves carry the CE marking and are certified by the well-known notified body TÜV Rheinland. This confirms their compliance with strict European Standards, including EN 12477 (Type A), the key standard for welding gloves, and the supporting standards EN 388 (mechanical risks) and EN 407 (thermal risks). By investing in this model, a professional can be sure that their hands are protected by a product with a verified and guaranteed level of safety, in line with occupational health and safety requirements and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
