Materials and Construction
The effectiveness of the 44-3001Z cover is based on carefully chosen cowhide split leather, valued in welding for its excellent resistance to high temperature and mechanical damage. It forms a solid barrier that stops hot spatter from burning through the internal cables. The construction is held together by KEVLAR® thread seams that do not melt or crack under heat, which is the most common cause of failure in cheaper covers. Unlike hook-and-loop fastening, the zip gives the most secure and tightest fit around the cable package and keeps sparks and dirt from getting inside.
Safety and Certification
As an equipment protection accessory, this product is not directly certified under PPE standards in the way clothing or gloves are (e.g. EN ISO 11611). However, it is built from materials with proven protective properties, cowhide leather and KEVLAR® thread, and directly contributes to a higher level of safety at the workstation. By protecting cables from damage, it minimises the risk of electrical faults, gas leaks or fire.
