Materials and Construction
The reliability of the 44-3628Z cover rests on carefully selected grain cowhide. Unlike cheaper split leather, grain leather is the top and strongest layer of the hide, with a dense fibre structure. This gives it natural resistance to abrasion, burn-through and oils. It is a premium material that lasts much longer than standard solutions. The cover has a full-length zip, which is its key distinguishing feature. The zip closes tightly and securely and stops sparks or hot spatter from getting inside, a common problem with covers that close with hook-and-loop fastening. The whole cover is sewn with strong, heat-resistant thread, so it does not come apart even in tough conditions.
