Materials and Construction
The reliability of the 44-1022T cover rests on carefully selected split cowhide leather, valued in welding for its exceptional resistance to mechanical and thermal damage. It forms a solid barrier against hot metal spatter and sparks and protects the cables when they are dragged over rough, sharp surfaces. The integrity of the construction is ensured by seams sewn 100% with DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread. Unlike standard polyester thread, KEVLAR® does not melt or break under high temperature, which removes the weakest point of cheap covers. The full-length hook-and-loop closure combines safety with ergonomics: you can fit and remove the cover very quickly without disconnecting the torch from the welding machine.

The product is made of materials with proven flame retardancy, the same ones Weldas uses in its certified protective clothing. Although cable covers, as accessories, are not subject to separate EN standards, they are produced under a strict ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certified by TÜV Rheinland.
