Materials and construction
The effectiveness of the SWEATSOpad® 20-3200V comes from its advanced, patented technology (trademark U.S. Reg. 3113365). The construction is based on two layers that work together:
Outer layer (contact): Made of 100% flame-retardant "fleecy" cotton. The material is very soft and pleasant to the touch, which prevents skin irritation even during long hours of work. Its key property is flame retardancy, which adds a passive level of protection where there is a risk of contact with sparks.
Inner layer (absorbent): Innovative foam with an air cushion system (Air-Cushioned Foam). Its porous structure gives good cushioning and improves the fit and wearing comfort of the hard hat, but above all it greatly increases the absorption capacity of the whole sweatband. The system actively "absorbs sweat and releases its vapour", holding moisture and stopping it from dripping, while letting air circulate so the sweat evaporates faster.
