What it is for
The tip holder connects the contact tip to the torch and carries the current to it. Replace it when the thread is worn and the tip no longer sits firmly, or when the holder is damaged or burnt.

Which contact tips fit the M6 holder?
In the PP Plus 401 D spare parts list the Böhler 2026/27 price list only gives M8 tips. The M6 tips in our range are assigned to the MT 150 G, so please ask us before ordering them.
Short or long holder?
For the PP Plus 401 D the price list gives three holders (item 3 on the drawing): short M6, short M8 and long M8. The others: short M8 and long M8. Order the same type that is in your torch; if in doubt, compare with the old holder or contact us.
How many pieces are in the pack?
10 pieces. The price shown is for the whole pack.
