What it is for
The tip holder connects the contact tip to the torch and carries the current to it. Replace it when the thread is worn and the tip no longer sits firmly, or when the holder is damaged or burnt.

Which contact tips fit this holder?
For the PP Plus 401 D the price list gives M8 tips, 30 mm long, the same as for the MT 350 G, MT 440 W and MT 540 W: ECu, CuCrZr and ECu for aluminium wire. Example for 1.2 mm wire: ECu M8 1.2 mm or CuCrZr M8 1.2 mm.
Short or long holder?
For the PP Plus 401 D the price list gives three holders (item 3 on the drawing): short M6, short M8 and long M8. The others: short M6 and short M8. Order the same type that is in your torch; if in doubt, compare with the old holder or contact us.
How many pieces are in the pack?
