This synergic ArcDrive program is set up for AlMg5 (ER5356) class wires, 1.0 mm diameter, with I1 shielding gas. You work in synergic or manual mode, with short arc or spray arc.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on aluminium, where stable wire feeding and a well-matched arc make a real difference. AlMg5 is used on aluminium-magnesium alloys.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas I1 (79.P1.107).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the AlMg5 (ER5356) class, which you can check on the spool label. If you weld with Union AlMg5, choose the program tuned to it: ArcDrive Union AlMg5 1.0 mm, gas I1 (79.S1.10799).
