This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with AlSi5 (ER4043) class wires, 1.0 mm, with I1 shielding gas. It covers short arc and spray arc, in manual and synergic mode.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for aluminium and its alloys. AlSi5 is used on aluminium-silicon alloys and castings.

Can I add this program to my TERRA NX or URANOS NX?
Yes, if your model is on the list above. ArcDrive has the widest machine list: it also covers TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas I1 (79.P1.111).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the AlSi5 (ER4043) class, which you can check on the spool label. If your wire is unusual, contact us before ordering.
