This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with CrNi 19 12 3 (ER316) class wires, 1.0 mm, with Z shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on stainless steels, where a clean weld and little spatter count.

ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position.
