What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for duplex stainless steels. The 1.2 mm diameter suits medium and thicker plate, typical in fabrication work.

Will this program work on my machine?
Yes, if your model is on the list above. ArcDrive has the widest machine list: it also covers TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.2 mm, gas M12 (79.P1.06499).
Can I use another ER2209 wire?
The curves are tuned to Thermanit 22/09. For other brands of the same class the price list offers the Universal ARC line, here: ArcDrive CrNi 22 09 (ER2209) 1.2 mm, gas M12 (79.S1.064).
