This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with BÖHLER EMK 4 Ultra wire, 1.6 mm, with M21 shielding gas. Pulsed arc and double pulse make thin sheet and positional welds easier.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Typical work: steel structures, frames, tanks and machine parts in unalloyed and low-alloy steel. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

No: the curves are made for M21. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels. For M20 choose a separate program: PulseDrive 1.6 mm, gas M20 (79.P1.01592).
