This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with Thermanit 21/10 N wire, 1.2 mm, with Z shielding gas. It provides pulsed arc and double pulse, which means less spatter and better pool control.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for stainless and acid-resistant steels. Z is a special helium mixture; its composition is shown in the table.

Will this program work on my machine?
Yes, if your model is on the list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control.
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to Thermanit 21/10 N. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
