PulseDrive program for Thermanit A-318 Si wire, 1.0 mm, with M12 shielding gas. It provides pulsed arc and double pulse, which means less spatter and better pool control.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. The program is meant for stainless and acid-resistant steels. M12 is argon with a small CO2 addition, a typical gas for stainless steel.

FAQ
Will this program work on my machine?
Yes, if your model is on the list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
PulseDrive or QuickPulse?
QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, higher deposition rate, a more concentrated arc and less heat. It covers fewer machines, not URANOS NX 2700. QuickPulse for this set-up: QuickPulse 1.0 mm, gas M12 (79.QP.26499).
Can I use another ER318 wire?
The curves are tuned to Thermanit A-318 Si. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
