This program runs the advanced T.MAP QuickPulse process for Thermanit A-318 Si wire, 1.0 mm diameter, with M12 shielding gas. According to the price list, QuickPulse raises deposition rate with less heat input.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on stainless steels, where a clean weld and little spatter count. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.

Any machine on the list above. QuickPulse is not listed for TERRA NX SMC SteelDrive, TERRA NX MSE or URANOS NX 2700. Give the machine model and serial number with your order so we can confirm compatibility with its software. Whether our service installs it or it comes as a manufacturer update is settled after the order.
How does QuickPulse differ from PulseDrive?
PulseDrive is synergic welding with pulsed arc and double pulse. QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, better penetration, a more stable arc and fewer defects. PulseDrive for this set-up: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas M12 (79.P1.26499).
Can I use another ER318 wire?
The curves are tuned to Thermanit A-318 Si. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
