This QuickPulse program runs the T.MAP process for diamondspark 960 MC wire, 1.2 mm, with M20 shielding gas. The Böhler Welding price list credits QuickPulse with faster welding, better penetration and a more stable arc.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for high-strength steels, where repeatable heat input and a stable arc matter. M20 contains less CO2 than M21, so the arc is calmer and produces less spatter.

FAQ
Will this program work on my machine?
Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. QuickPulse is not listed for TERRA NX SMC SteelDrive, TERRA NX MSE or URANOS NX 2700. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
QuickPulse or RapiDeep?
The price list gives both T.MAP processes the same benefits. The machine list differs: RapiDeep also runs on TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive, QuickPulse only on machines that run PulseDrive. RapiDeep for this set-up: RapiDeep 1.2 mm, gas M20 (79.RD.19199).
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to diamondspark 960 MC. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
