What it is for
In a push-pull system the wire feeder pushes the wire and the drive in the torch pulls it, so the wire feeds evenly even through a long cable assembly. Choose the roll to match the wire diameter and replace it when the groove is worn and the wire starts to slip.

Which roll do I need for a different wire size?
Rolls for the PP Plus 401 D are available for 0.8 mm, 0.9 mm, 1.0 mm and 1.6 mm wire. This item is for 1.2 mm wire.
Does it fit the wire feeder in the machine?
No. This is the roll for the drive in the PP Plus 401 D torch (item 1 on the Böhler 2026/27 price list drawing). Wire feeder rolls are separate parts.
How many rolls are in the pack?
One. Check the PP Plus 401 D manual for the number of rolls in the torch drive, or ask us before ordering.
