SP 70 is a Böhler Welding plasma cutting torch with a 6 m cable assembly, made for the SABER 70 CHP plasma cutter. It is rated 70 A at 50% duty cycle and works at 5.0 bar with a flow of 185 l/min. Böhler includes it in the SABER 70 CHP set (56.01.010), so here you buy it as a replacement or second torch.
What it is for
You replace the torch when the cable or body is damaged, or buy a second one so you do not have to swap parts between jobs. For SP 70 you get the full Böhler parts list: torch body, O-rings, standard and long electrodes, air diffuser, cutting, extended and gouging nozzles, nozzle holder and three types of shield cups.
Match the nozzle to the current: the 0.95 mm nozzle covers 20 to 50 A, the 1.10 mm nozzle 50 to 70 A. For circle cutting there is the compass kit 73.04.010, for bevelling edges the bevel tool 73.04.011.

FAQ
Is SP 70 included with the SABER 70 CHP?
Yes. The SABER 70 CHP configuration (56.01.010) in the Böhler price list includes the SP 70 torch and the work cable. This item is the same torch sold separately.
Is there a version longer than 6 m?
The Böhler data table lists 6 and 12 m, but the 2026/27 price list has a part number only for the 6 m version (81.20.057). Ask us before ordering a longer one.
Which parts wear fastest?
The electrode and the nozzle, because they work directly in the arc. When you replace one, check the other, and from time to time the air diffuser and the O-ring too.
Does SP 70 fit other plasma cutters?
Böhler assigns it to the SABER 70 CHP. We do not confirm compatibility with other plasma cutters.
