The Cloos GLC 300 MC4 is an inverter MIG/MAG welder with liquid cooling, for a 400 V supply. The source gives 300 A at a 60% duty cycle and 230 A at a continuous 100% load. Besides MIG/MAG it handles braze welding, TIG and stick electrodes.
What this machine is for
At 230 A the machine works without stopping, and the peak of 300 A at a 60% cycle stays for thicker fillet welds and multi run joints. That is a range for a production workshop: frames, bodies, machine parts.
Four processes in one source close the subject of a station. In MIG/MAG you weld with wire under gas shielding, with braze welding you join coated sheet at a lower temperature, in TIG you lay welds that need a clean face, and with a stick electrode you make repairs where the gas shield will not hold over the pool. Pulse doses the heat, synergy matches the voltage to the wire feed speed, and programs for welding different steels give you ready settings.

What to watch out for
The supply is a 400 V mains and a three phase circuit, so agree the size of the fuse with an electrician. All the cables are 3 m long, so the machine has to stand close to the part and to the socket. The cooler needs fluid with frost protection, so before you start check the level, the flow and the tightness of the quick couplings. For the TIG mode and for stick work buy torches separately, the card does not list them. It gives no weight and no dimensions either.
How we sell used machines
This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
