Expert TIG 220 AC/DC Pulse is a portable IGBT inverter welder. It welds TIG and TIG PULSE on alternating (AC) and direct (DC) current, and MMA with a coated electrode on direct current. You can weld all metals with it, including aluminium and stainless steel. It is small and light, so it suits the workshop and site work.

Features
TIG modes and pulse
TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE are for stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper and titanium. TIG AC and TIG AC PULSE weld aluminium and its alloys, and brass. With the pulse parameters you influence the weld shape and arc focus, and less heat goes into the material, which helps with thin parts. You choose the AC voltage waveform on the panel: square or sine.
Ignition and torch trigger
You strike the arc without contact (HF) or by contact (LIFT). LIFT is used where electromagnetic interference could affect the surroundings. In both modes the torch trigger works in 2-step or 4-step mode (trigger latch for long welds).
Digital control panel
The clear, simple digital panel gives precise adjustment and stable parameters. On the displays you set: gas pre-flow and post-flow, start current, rise time, welding current, base current, fall time, end current, pulse width and frequency, AC balance and frequency, HOT START and ARC FORCE.
MMA functions
ARC FORCE (manual short-circuit current adjustment) helps droplet transfer, so the arc does not go out when a droplet touches the weld pool. HOT START (manual adjustment) raises the current at each ignition and the electrode strikes more easily. ANTI STICK switches off the voltage when the electrode sticks to the material: it is easier to pull off and no accidental arc forms.
Construction
The welder has fan cooling and overload protection. Gas quick coupler: you connect and disconnect the torch without tools.
