Expert ARC 400 Cellulosic MMA/TIG is an inverter welder for MMA welding with coated electrodes and for TIG with touch arc ignition, on direct current (DC). It welds with rutile, basic and cellulosic electrodes, and with electrodes for stainless steel and cast iron. Three-phase 400 V supply, without plug.

Features
Control and VRD
You adjust the current steplessly, control is electronic, and the digital display makes accurate setting easier. VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) lowers the open-circuit voltage at the electrode to a safe value and protects you from electric shock when you work in damp surroundings.
MMA functions
ARC FORCE (manual short-circuit current adjustment) helps droplets transfer from the electrode to the weld pool and stops the arc going out when a droplet touches it. HOT START (manual hot start adjustment) gives a higher current at each strike, so the electrode ignites more easily. ANTI STICK cuts the welding voltage when the electrode sticks to the material, so it is easier to pull free and no accidental arc forms.
Cooling and protection
A fan cools the machine. It also has overload protection.
