Tecno TIG 212 DC Pulse LED is a portable Ideal IGBT inverter welder that plugs into a 230 V socket. It welds on direct current (DC) in TIG, pulse TIG and coated electrode (MMA) mode. You set the welding current in the range 5 to 210 A. It is small and light, so you can use it in the workshop and on site.

Features
TIG DC, TIG DC Pulse and MMA
The welder has three modes: TIG DC, TIG DC Pulse and MMA. In TIG you weld stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steel, copper and titanium, under inert shielding gas.
TIG pulse
With the pulse parameters you influence the weld shape and how focused the arc is. Pulse reduces the heat going into the material, so it helps with thin parts.
HF or Lift ignition, 2T and 4T
You strike the arc without contact (HF) or by contact (Lift). With both methods you choose how the torch trigger works: 2T, or 4T with latch for long welds.
Parameters on the LED display
On the LED display you set gas pre-flow and post-flow, start current, rise time, welding current, base current, fall time and end current. You also adjust pulse width and frequency.
MMA functions
ARC FORCE adjusts the short-circuit current and helps droplet transfer from the electrode to the weld pool, so the arc does not go out. HOT START supplies a higher current at every arc strike and makes it easier to strike the electrode.
Design
A fan cools the inside, and overload protection guards the machine. You connect and disconnect the gas quick coupling at the torch without tools.
