Technology in detail
At the heart of the THF MIG 202 sits an advanced IGBT inverter board supported by a set of premium class technologies. The PFC circuit (Power Factor Correction) actively corrects the power factor, which means lower current draw and tolerance of voltage fluctuation. In MIG/MAG mode, synergic control with double pulse is the key to efficient welding of aluminium and stainless steel with a perfect weld face. In the TIG process the machine gives full control over welding aluminium (AC) and other metals (DC), contactless HF arc striking, adjustment of AC balance and frequency and an advanced TIG pulse allow precise control over the weld pool, even on very thin material.

Control panel
The control panel was designed around ergonomics and intuitive use. In the centre sits a large colour LCD display that presents all welding parameters, including the pulse waveforms, in a clear graphic form. Navigation runs through a single multifunction knob, which allows an immediate choice of welding process, activation of the synergic programs and precise adjustment of the advanced functions. Despite how much the machine can do, operating it stays simple and logical.
