Materials and Construction
The Yellowjacket® 10-2670 is a hybrid design that cleverly combines the strengths of different materials. The gripping side of the palm is made of durable goatskin, valued in industry for its flexibility and the good "feel" it gives for whatever you hold, which is essential in assembly work. The back of the glove is made of modern Spandex, which gives a close fit to the hand and also good air circulation, so your hands sweat less and stay comfortable through long shifts. A distinctive feature is the air cushion built into the palm, which absorbs impacts and makes the glove more comfortable to wear.
Safety and Certification
The 10-2670 gloves are certified to the European standard EN 388:2016, which confirms proven protection against mechanical hazards. The standard rates the key resistance parameters of a glove in strict laboratory tests:
Abrasion resistance (level 1-4): Shows how durable the glove is in contact with rough surfaces.
Cut resistance (level 1-5): Measures protection against sharp edges.
Tear resistance (level 1-4): Indicates how well the material resists tearing.
Puncture resistance (level 1-4): Defines protection against sharp, pointed objects.
When you choose a product marked EN 388, you know you are investing in safety verified by independent bodies.
