Materials and construction
The Fire Fox™ trousers are made of a specialised flame-retardant cotton with a fabric weight of 305 g/m². The dense weave forms an effective barrier against sparks and small spatter while allowing good air circulation and moisture transport. A key design feature is the 3-ply twisted KEVLAR® thread used for all seams. This aramid thread withstands high temperatures and abrasion, which stops the garment from splitting at critical points and keeps it intact throughout its service life. Weldas designers paid attention to detail and created a product that protects you without restricting the precision of your movements.
Safety and certification
The 33-2600 trousers are certified to EN ISO 11611:2015, Class 1 (A1+A2), by the recognised certification body TÜV. Class 1 is intended for protection during manual welding techniques that produce little spatter and radiant heat, such as gas welding, TIG, MIG, micro-plasma welding or MMA with rutile electrodes.
