Materials and Construction
The 38-4380 bib overalls are built on an innovative heavy flame-retardant (FR) cotton with a fabric weight of 520 g/m². This material forms a solid barrier against large molten metal spatter and intense radiant heat, while offering much better breathability and lower weight than all-leather clothing. Seams sewn entirely with 3-ply KEVLAR® thread keep the construction intact under extreme conditions. The thread resists high temperatures and tearing, so the garment does not split open in critical areas. Dielectric (insulated) press studs are a key safety feature that protects the welder from accidental electric shock.
Safety and Certification
The Arc Knight® 38-4380 bib overalls are certified to EN ISO 11611:2015, Class 2/A1+A2. This is the highest protection level for welding clothing, intended for work in the most hazardous conditions with heavy spatter and high radiant heat.
