The COMFOflex® series is the flagship Weldas glove line, designed for professionals working in the most demanding welding conditions, such as MIG/MAG and MMA. Materials and construction
The performance of the 10-2000LH glove comes from the combination of advanced materials and a well-thought-out design. The outer layer is made of top-quality grade A shoulder split cowhide, valued for its natural mechanical strength and good insulation against hot metal spatter. The heart of the glove, however, is the COMFOflex® technology patented by Weldas. It is not an ordinary lining but a two-component system: an inner layer of soft, flame-retardant fleece absorbs moisture and keeps your hand dry, while an outer layer of flame-retardant foam forms an air cushion. This structure cushions the hand and, above all, acts as a heat barrier, greatly improving thermal comfort. The whole glove is sewn with very strong, temperature-resistant DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread, which removes the most common cause of glove failure: burnt-through seams.
Safety and certification
Welder safety is an absolute priority for Weldas. The COMFOflex® 10-2000LH glove holds a CE certificate issued by the independent notified body TÜV Rheinland, confirming its compliance with strict European standards for personal protective equipment (including EN 388 and EN 407). Importantly, flame-retardant properties are given not only to the leather but also to every layer of the COMFOflex® lining, so the comfort features do not create a hazard. Production in an ISO 9001:2015 certified plant ensures consistent, top quality for every piece.
