Materials and Construction
The heart of this specialist set is the patented COMFOflex® technology. It is a two-layer, flame-retardant lining system in which an inner layer of soft fleece wicks away sweat and an outer layer of foam forms an insulating “air cushion”. This construction not only makes work much more comfortable but also forms an additional barrier against heat.
The outer shell of the gloves is made of carefully selected class A cow shoulder split leather, valued for its maximum mechanical strength. A key design element that marks the premium class of the product is the use of DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread. Its extreme resistance to tearing and burn-through means the gloves will not let you down at a critical moment and keep their structural integrity even under intense exposure to sparks and spatter. The asymmetric design of the 10-2009 pair is a smart solution: the heavier left glove (10-2000) protects the hand that supports the workpiece, while the more flexible right glove (10-1009) gives the precision you need to handle the welding torch.
