Materials and construction
The 10-2392/18 gloves are built on top-quality class A shoulder split cowhide. This material was chosen for its dense structure, which provides an excellent barrier against molten metal spatter and high resistance to abrasion and puncture. The key factor in product life is the 4-ply braided DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread used to join all parts. This removes the most common cause of glove failure: burnt-through seams. The inside of the glove is lined with the innovative, flame-retardant COMFOflex® lining, which not only adds thermal insulation but also actively manages moisture, keeping your hands dry and comfortable even during many hours of work. The reinforced thumb was designed specifically for MIG/MAG welders to increase durability where the glove is in constant contact with the welding gun.
Safety and certification
The Weldas 10-2392/18 gloves were designed and manufactured to meet the strict requirements of the European standard EN ISO 11611, which sets out requirements for protective clothing used in welding and allied processes. The 46 cm cuff gives full forearm protection against spatter and intense radiant heat and minimises the risk of burns.
