Materials and Construction
The 10-2850 is a masterful combination of protection and dexterity, achieved through careful material selection and intelligent design.
Outer Material, Deerskin: Top-grade deerskin is the key to this glove's exceptional properties. Valued for its remarkable softness and flexibility, the material fits the hand closely and gives excellent feel and control over the tool, qualities that standard cowhide gloves cannot offer.
Lining Technology, COMFOflex® Innovation: The heart of the glove is the patented, flame-retardant COMFOflex® lining, placed strategically on the back of the hand only. This two-layer system consists of an inner moisture-absorbing fleece and an outer foam that forms an air cushion. This configuration is a smart compromise: it protects the back of the hand from intense radiant heat, while the palm side stays unlined, which maximises finger sensitivity and grip confidence.
Structural Integrity, KEVLAR® Thread: All seams are sewn with 4-strand braided DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread. This is the premium standard, and it eliminates the most common cause of glove failure: burnt-through seams. KEVLAR® thread is heat-resistant and has very high tensile strength, so the glove stays intact even in the harshest conditions.
