Technical details and certification
Materials and construction
The functionality of the 10-9334 gloves comes from a careful selection and combination of materials.
Cowhide grain leather palm: The inner part of the hand is made of top-quality grain leather. This is the outer, most valuable layer of the hide, with a dense fibre structure. It gives exceptional softness and flexibility and, above all, excellent feel, which is essential for precise TIG or MIG/MAG welding. The smooth surface ensures a secure grip and good dexterity.
Split cowhide back and cuff: The back of the hand and the cuff are made of selected split cowhide at least 1 mm thick. Its job is to form a solid barrier against hot metal spatter, sparks and the intense radiant heat that comes with welding.
DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread: All seams are sewn with 4-strand braided KEVLAR® thread. This is a key feature that sets premium products apart. The thread is extremely resistant to high temperature, which removes the most common cause of glove failure: burnt-through and split seams. The construction stays intact even in the toughest conditions.
Safety and certification
Weldas puts safety first, as its strict certification process shows. Like all Weldas products for the European market, the 10-9334 gloves carry the CE marking and are tested by the renowned notified body TÜV Rheinland. This means the product meets the strict requirements of the European Standards (EN) for personal protection. By choosing this model, you choose a verified and guaranteed level of safety. Full declarations of conformity are available on the manufacturer's website.
