The secret of the 10-1005 model's functionality is the combination of an advanced design and carefully chosen materials. The key innovation is the seam-free index finger, which removes the seam edge that could catch or block the wire as you feed it. The integrity of the glove is secured by stitching with DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread, which resists high temperatures and mechanical stress and prevents the most common cause of glove failure: burnt-through seams. An additional reinforcement at the thumb crotch significantly extends the life of the glove in the area most prone to wear.
