Materials and construction
The foundation of the 10-2806 gloves is their distinctive palm, made of a double layer of selected split cowhide. This design not only greatly increases resistance to contact heat but above all gives an exceptionally long service life, even during intensive work with heavy and rough materials. Split cowhide as the base material provides an excellent barrier against molten metal spatter and high abrasion resistance. The integrity of the whole glove is ensured by 4-ply braided DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread, the standard in premium Weldas products. Its extreme mechanical strength and resistance to high temperatures eliminate the most common cause of glove failure: burnt-through and torn seams. The 7.5 cm safety cuff effectively protects your wrist from sparks and injuries.
